After the weekly reset arrived this past Tuesday for Destiny 2, players began reporting a clan related issue where the Nightfall engram wasn’t unlocking after The Garden World Nightfall strike was cleared. Digging into the issue, Bungie discovered a bug and decided to switch out the Nightfall strike for this week to mitigate the issue for players. In order to unlock the related clan reward for this week, players will need to finish the Nightfall again, this time set on The Inverted Spire. This update also means that the engram for Prestige completion of The Garden World strike is no longer available.

The modifiers have also changed alongside the Nightfall. Torrent, the fan favorite modifier which essentially removes ability and super cool downs for players has been outright removed. Instead, players have to deal with Momentum, which completely prevents health and shield regeneration while standing still. In addition, players can again extend the Nightfall timer by finding and jumping through Vex time gates.

Naturally, the community is a bit disappointed with this change moving from something new and fresh to content the community has played already. This isn’t the first Nightfall related issue Destiny 2 has experienced since its launch however. One of the bigger updates came back in October as Bungie was forced to pull a similar move by replacing Exodus Crash due to a bug that prevented players from progressing towards the end of the strike.

Destiny 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
