Another renowned glitch in Destiny 2’s history allowed groups of twelve players to delve into Raids at the same time, annihilating bosses and melting through the content both for loot and for fun. Now, a new hilarious and extremely dangerous glitch has emerged in the game, and it concerns Stasis Titans and the newly reworked Diamond Lance Aspect, letting players spam the ability across all game modes.

Diamond Lance was recently buffed in the 30th Anniversary Pack and saw a surge in use as a result, which led to some players experimenting with the Aspect in ways that would break the game. Destiny 2 YouTuber and content creator Cheese Forever reported the glitch with two videos yesterday, explaining that it occurs when players try to fire their Diamond Lance while pressing the Super button, thus animation-canceling the throw without consuming it. This makes for a game-breaking issue because Titans can simply rapid-fire their Diamond Lance in all content, be it PvE, PvP, or Gambit.
The glitch only happens if a Stasis Titan’s Super is not fully charged, otherwise pressing the Super button would cast it instead of canceling the animation of the throw. Destiny 2 YouTuber and content creator Sweatcicle shared a clip on Twitter of a full Raid fireteam throwing Diamond Lances at Morgeth from the Last Wish, annihilating the boss in a matter of seconds. However, this can be most problematic in PvP, where an experienced Titan can singlehandedly deal with the whole enemy team by throwing lances.
It’s worth noting that a recently shared Destiny 2 Titan build melts bosses with Stasis crystals and the Behemoth’s ability to create many of those on command, showing how powerful a well-built Titan can be. As for Diamond Lance, however, the Aspect normally is mainly used for its 3 Fragment slots and as an add-clearing tool, but this glitch makes it a boss killer - albeit for a limited amount of time before it’s inevitably patched.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
