The new Golden Sevens bundle lives up to its name by giving Destiny 2 players access to seven bright engrams, seven shaders, 500 Bright Dust, and a new ship called Nothing Gold. The bundle is likely to cause a bit of controversy, however, because it must be bought with Silver, Destiny 2’s premium currency purchased with real money. In this case, the bundle is valued at 2000 Silver, or roughly $20.
Players hoping to jump on this deal, unfortunately, lost that opportunity when the newly introduced golden sevens bundle inexplicably disappeared from the Eververse marketplace. While Bungie has yet to confirm what happened to the bundle, the disappearance occurred after the Nightfall was switched mid-week due to a glitch found in the Exodus Crash strike. Players have begun to speculate that a glitch made the bundle appear earlier than intended and is likely the reason why the bundle was quietly removed. Players will need to check back in with Tess Everis tomorrow when the reset takes place to see if the bundle is back. It’s also possible that this is a new Eververse item for Season 2.
This isn’t the first time players have encountered some odd behavior from the Eververse store. Last week a new legendary emote referencing Monty Python allowed players to glitch through normally impassable walls. Using the Beaurocratic Walk emote, players were able glitch through walls, through scenery, and even get behind the Eververse counter next to Tess Everis. While Bungie removed the emote from Eververse’s inventory, the problem also forced the developer to cancel the Trails of the Nine events for the next two weeks while it worked on a fix for the issues.
Destiny 2 is out now for PS4 and Xbox One. The PC version releases on October 24th.
