Destiny 2’s Season of the Lost also introduced new mods in the form of Weapon Holster mods, which reload weapons periodically while stowed, but it also came with nerfs to the popular Warmind Cells and threw into the mix more Elemental Well mods. These mods are not available at once from the seasonal vendor, but rather they rotate weekly in and out of the store. Players also have to complete seasonal challenges that award Reputation and Rank Up Packages from the Wayfinder’s Compass, as doing that grants access to more valuable mods at ranks 5 and 15, respectively.

Today is a great day for players to go and grab a few rare mods, starting with what Ada-1 is selling for a few more hours. In fact, the Exo’s inventory is now stocked with Linear Fusion Rifle Ammo Finder, which may not be build-defining as combat style mods, but it is a very valuable asset this Season. In fact, Destiny 2’s current Season is all about fusion rifles and linear fusion rifles, so everything that can make DPS phases even easier is a very welcome addition. Linear Fusion Rifle Ammo Finder is a helmet mod that does exactly what it says on the tin, and it was last sold in October 2020, making it quite rare.
Then, more importantly, Stasis Elemental Well mods became unexpectedly available yesterday after maintenance. These were a mystery so far because many players assumed they would become available as part of the current rotation, only after the Light elements were sold. However, now players can acquire both Elemental Shards and Elemental Time Dilation, with the former counting Stasis shards as Stasis Elemental Wells, while the latter makes time-limited effects stack and last longer based on how many copies of the mod are slotted.
Yesterday, Thermoclastic Blooming was also reactivated as a seasonal mod after the Telesto glitch. Since it works with Solar and Stasis melee abilities, it’s likely Bungie added the Stasis mods to the pool only after Thermoclastic Blooming was fixed. Still, Destiny 2 players should go grab these three mods now, as they will probably be very meta moving forward.
Destiny 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
