For each Faction Rally, Bungie hides a scannable item in one Lost Sector on each of the four Destinations. Many players didn’t know these scannable items were even there, but now that Faction Rally is back players know to look out for them.
These scannable items are similar to the story-based items found throughout Destiny 2. Players will send out their Ghost to scan the item and a bit of dialogue will play. In the case of these Faction Rally items, the dialogue is dependent on which Faction the player pledged to. In truth, these items are not going to radically change the way players view Destiny 2’s story or the Factions, but they will deliver 5 Faction Tokens for per item.
1. European Dead Zone
In the European Dead Zone, players can find the Faction Rally item in the Lost Sector called Widows Walk. Look for a fenced off area to the left of the chest.
2. Titan
The item on Titan can be found in the Siren’s Watch Lost Sector underneath a staircase.
3. Nessus
Look for the Nessus Faction Rally item in the Carrion Pit Lost Sector. The scannable will be underneath the Lost Sector chest.
4. Io
The Faction Rally scannable item for Io is in the Giant’s Scar Lost Sector area. The item is found tucked behind a broken door that players need to crouch and go through.
As we mentioned, these Faction Rally items are not going to expand player’s understanding of Destiny lore; their main function is to unlock 5 Tokens for each one scanned. It’s also a fun little hunt for players to go on during each Faction Rally – something to do that is out of the ordinary.
Those players that are looking for the most efficient way to earn Faction Rally Tokens, however, should look towards the European Dead Zone. There they will find a Lost Sector that is perfect for farming Faction Rally Tokens.
