The Antaeus Wards might not seem like much at first glance, and the boots weren’t overwhelmingly popular when they first released. Next to other Titan exotics like One Eyed Mask, the Antaeus Wards couldn’t compete. Then, Bungie buffed the Destiny 2 exotic as part of its Season of the Worthy update. RELATED: Destiny 2 Glitch Reveals Changes Coming to the Tower Yet again, the buff didn’t seem significant, but what Bungie did was remove the Antaeus Wards chip damage potential....

Both the Monsters and Mechs sets of armor are teased with a piece of concept art, as only after one wins will Bungie dedicate the resources into actually making the set. The Mechs set shows that Bungie was heavily inspired by Gundam with its designs, though no single set is specifically comparable to a Gundam – likely for legal reasons. Bungie does specifically say that they’re mobile suits, though....

Reckoning is a four-player PvE mode where motes from Gambit Prime can be used for more challenge. Part of the appeal of this mode is the reward of earning the new Gambit Prime armor centered around specific roles of Invader, Collector, Reaper, and Sentry. However, as players are now starting to discover, Bungie developers have also placed nine hidden items to collect during The Reckoning mode, which opens a new lore book called Dust....

With the Flashpoint milestone being set on the Hellas Basin of Mars, a DLC-only location, Xur can be found in his normal spot at the Tower. After loading in, head to the left side into the hangar. Xur can be found on a platform behind the Dead Orbit leader, Arach Jalaal. Players can find his icon and general location from the Tower minimap as well. Xur’s exotic armor selection this week includes Claws of Ahamkara gauntlets for Warlocks, Gemini Jester leg armor for Hunters, and Crest of Alpha Lupi chest armor for Titans....

While there are a lot of good qualities about Beyond Light as an expansion, it didn’t do as well as it could have. For starters, it came with a very controversial system of content removal, with Bungie making the so-called Destiny Content Vault in order to reduce Destiny 2’s file size. This, combined with the imbalance of Stasis in PvP, led to many players being frustrated with the expansion despite Destiny 2 Year 4 being arguably the best the game has seen....

The same can be said for more of the cosmetic style items, typically seen at the microtransaction store called Eververse. Throughout these past few weeks, the store has been cycling through new content like the Destiny 2 community voted Dinosaur armor ornament set, as well as previous event’s ghost shells, emotes, and more. However, with the final week of the Festival of the Lost now in full effect, it appears that there are some items that aren’t going to become available....

The latest discovery is what appears to be a Destiny 2 ARG (Alternate Reality Game) that begins in the game’s social space The Farm. According to a very convincing theory video by My name is Byf, The Farm’s computers have been playing Morse code sequences that when translated spell out either IOM4 or 26T, which may be a reference to Jupiter’s moon (and explorable location) Io. It should be noted that neither My name is Byf nor the GetWrecked clan (which worked with the YouTuber to translated the messages) are very experienced in Morse code, but the clue is certainly a tantalizing one....

Bungie said it has taken some of these subclasses under the design knife to buff and redesign them to push players towards using some of these less-commonly-used subclasses. At this point in Destiny 2’s lifecycle, most players have settled into their favorite subclasses and likely have little reason to switch around to try new ones. But these changes may shift the meta a bit and encourage players to do just that....

To be more specific, the latest Invitation of the Nine Quest requires players to kill Hive, Scorn, and Vex in the Tangled Shore, but there is no Vex in that location. This makes the Destiny 2 quest impossible to complete, as the only progress that can be made is killing the Hive and the Scorn, but this will be fixed come May 7. Destiny 2 players can now plan around this update, however, to complete the quest and continue the developing story about the Drifter and the Nine....

Overall, the Curse of Osiris expansion will offer eight story missions for players to enjoy and Bungie is turning two of these missions into Strikes. Destiny 2 project lead Sam Jones said that it is a “natural evolution” of the director map from Destiny 1 which “had strikes featured as part of the destination as a discrete standalone activity.” Jones added that featuring strikes on a destination “complimented the overall story for a given destination” in Destiny 1....

As reported by Destiny 2 YouTuber Cheese Forever, this Prophecy loot exploit gives players a game breaking way to score fast XP, umbral engrams, altered elements, and plenty of loot. Basically, players kill the final boss in the Prophecy dungeon but don’t claim the loot and instead leave the mission or change characters. This will give the player the treasure room checkpoint which can be used to spawn back into the dungeon at this point in time....

The Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost trailer begins with the solemn indication that this is “a holiday about death and loss,” but such grimness is certainly not all that players can expect from this seasonal event. Indeed, the trailer continues by stating that Festival of the Lost focuses around “hidden identities, beautiful lanterns, and candy,” and players will no doubt become quite familiar with sweet treats throughout the event, as candy will be used to obtain many of the festival’s items....

During a Gambit match on the new Dreaming City map that unlocked when the Last Wish raid in Destiny 2 was first beaten, a player by the name of MadCatz1999 came across a brand new wish plate. After lining up the symbols and activating them in the Last Wish raid, Wish 10 unlocked which changed the dialogue and commentary to be from The Drifter. Wish 10 follows along the same lines as Wish 9, which ultimately changed the dialogue during the raid to be from Failsafe, the dual personality AI from Nessus....

First off, players should make sure they have space in the Consumables section of their Inventory screens. If they do not have space, Trials Tokens, which can be turned in for additional Trials of Osiris loot, will be lost. They will not go to the Postmaster to be recovered later. Additionally, Trials Tokens expire weekend-to-weekend and cannot be hoarded, so it is even more important to ensure space is open and to use them this weekend....

Destiny 2’s current infusion system allows players to infuse weapons of the same class into one another, so auto rifles can be infused into auto rifles, scout rifles into scout rifles, and so on. However, Bungie is getting rid of some of the restrictions for infusing weapons in the new weapon system. Players will now be able to infuse weapons of the same slot into one another, so auto rifles can be infused into any weapon type that shares the same weapon slot, making it easier to find infusion fuel for weapons....

Beyond Light revolves around Stasis, a new element that lets Guardians embrace the power of the Darkness. Three new Guardian subclasses were introduced to embody this power: The Hunter Revenant, Titan Behemoth, and Warlock Shadebinder. Players have discovered an infinite super glitch for Shadebinder among other concerns, and Bungie released Hotfix 3.0.0.3 in order to “rein Shadebinders back in while still maintaining their overall efficacy and power fantasy.” RELATED: Destiny 2’s Stasis Subclasses are Ruining the Game for Some Players...

Infamy is the ranking system introduced with Gambit when Destiny 2 Forsaken released back in September 2018. Players gain Infamy points per match completion, with more points awarded for a win versus a loss. The one caveat is that once players reach Legend rank, their Infamy does not increase unless they win or turn in a Gambit bounty for Infamy. Triple Infamy is worth highlighting because many of the Gambit pinnacle weapons, quests, and some Destiny 2 triumphs require resetting one’s Gambit rank....

Of course, an arsenal of new tools of destruction will also help Guardians uncover the mysteries of Savathun’s Throne World and fight the Hive Lightbearers, with The Witch Queen introducing over 50 weapons and several Exotic guns. Furthermore, every class will be getting two Exotics: a Stasis one and a Light one. Destiny 2’s new Exotic weapons and armor pieces will have an impact on the game’s meta to a degree, but players seem to agree that one of the recently revealed ones will be particularly nasty in the Crucible....

Vex Mythoclast’s drop chance in Vault of Glass has stirred quite a few controversies, and there are many players who haven’t gotten it yet after over 50 runs. The same holds true for Eyes of Tomorrow, the Exotic rocket launcher that comes from the Deep Stone Crypt Raid. The item was never meta, and it only became very popular in Destiny 2’s Gambit thanks to its multi-lock-on missiles, but the newly released Gjallarhorn simply does its job better....
