Warmind’s announcement was made as part of Bungie’s latest update to Destiny 2’s development roadmap. The newest roadmap details three planned major updates to Destiny 2: one May 8 which includes the Warmind expansion, one in the summer, and finally the third update this September. Announced details regarding Warmind itself are limited to the expansion’s name and release date, but more info will be revealed during an April 24 livestream....

Surprisingly, Bungie is already planning major changes to how crafting works as early as next season. Specifically, Bungie announced that it is completely removing specific weapon crafting materials, revamping the entire process to make it a little less convoluted. To help players before that happens, a hot fix next week aims to increase the small resource cap limits from 250 to 1000 and the Neutral Element cap from 8500 to 10000....

In addition, the studio discussed the topic of FOMO in future seasons of Destiny 2, revealing that numerous changes are on the way. Not only is a more interconnected storyline being developed for Year 4, but the larger seasonal activities like the Sundial and related gear, will remain active beyond the season so those who may be coming late can still experience it. Bounties are also getting overhauled, with Bungie admitting that they’ve unfortunately evolved into mandatory chores rather than optional ways for players to optimize their character....

Thankfully, Xur has seemingly corrected many of his glitches and inventory issues and isn’t offering any items already offered int he previous weeks. The Fated Engram is back once again as well as another very popular and powerful weapon. Here’s a rundown on where to find Xur, as well as what he’s offering from September 21 until he departs before Destiny 2’s weekly reset next week. Where is Xur? The new challenge every Friday is discovering where the shifty merchant is in the game world since he’s no longer tethered to the Destiny 2 Flashpoint milestone location, and no longer has a big icon displayed on the location map....

Arguably one of the best armor sets in Destiny 2 is the Escalation Protocol gear that was introduced with the Warmind expansion in Year 1. Reddit user mlsof21 has now, however, found a way to make DIM even more comprehensive through the use of full-fledged voice commands, of all things. Almost across the board, Bungie is buffing damage for every weapon class in Destiny 2, but there’s a catch. Most of these buffs will only apply to PvE, with a few perk-specific changes affecting weapons in The Crucible. Some highlights from the rundown include a buff for Sniper Rifles that will increase the weapon’s precision multiplier, aim assist, and inventory size; better accuracy for hand cannons on consoles; and faster rate of fire for the high impact pulse rifle class....

Smith explains that every raid has a theme, or “heartbeat” as he calls it. The raid team at Bungie is looking to put the player into a specific scenario to receive a distinct experience. Smith was willing to pull back the curtain just enough to reveal what that “heartbeat”, or main focus, of Destiny 2’s first raid is: There isn’t much more detail to go on about the first raid that will come to Destiny 2....

Bungie has been tight lipped on this year’s version of Festival of the Lost, only revealing that Destiny 2 community voted Dinosaur armor would be made available along with a special Day of the Dead ghost which was a collaboration between Bungie and community artist Luis Miguel Yepez Franco. While previous events typically featured the Haunted Forest, a twisted take on the Infinite Forest section of Mercury, this year’s event changes things up to provide a fresh take on this special holiday season....

Each of the prior DLC’s for Destiny 2 increased the level cap by a fair increment, but this is the largest jump the game has seen yet, which makes sense as Forsaken is the largest expansion Bungie has produced for the Destiny franchise. The DLC will bring a ton of new loot, enemies, and areas to explore, so it seems Bungie is giving players a big grind to keep players invested throughout their exploration of the DLC....

News of the glitch comes courtesy of DICTATUSNORDIC on Reddit, who not only describes the problem in detail but also has captured footage of it being used during Destiny 2 gameplay. According to the poster, certain users created a macro that allows them to spam the crouch button much faster than what a normal player could achieve by playing normally. With the macro active, players can not only move faster while continually spamming the crouch button, but also they can remain completely invisible on the radar....

Following the first step of The Lie quest, Destiny 2 players are tasked with heading to Vostok to scan three objects scattered around the map. These scannable items actually provide additional context surrounding the odd relationship between Rasputin and the exo Iron Lord Felwinter. However, most players may not realize that Vostok is located on Felwinter’s Peak, an area included inside of the Destiny: Rise of Iron expansion, which also includes the Iron Temple....

Destiny 2 players won’t have to go another weekend without Trials of Osiris (for now). Bungie will be reimplementing the multiplayer mode tomorrow on Friday, March 12, so that Trials of Osiris can run through the full weekend like normal. It’ll be active with the daily reset, so Destiny 2 players won’t even lose an hour of potential Trials of Osiris play-time. Players will just have to rush and make sure their Trials of Osiris fireteam is ready to get back into the action....

But with the impending release of Destiny 2, the app is getting an update. The game’s developer, Bungie, detailed some of the new and returning functionality of the app in their weekly blog. Besides a graphical facelift that includes weapon models that look much closer to the actual game, Destiny 2 fans will be have some new features at their fingertips. The first new addition is an “Explore” section that looks to combine news and updates about Destiny 2, community creations, and forums all in one place....

As of this Tuesday’s weekly reset, Destiny 2 players will be able to earn double the amount of Nightfall rewards from Nightfall: The Ordeal and Grandmaster Nightfall strikes. This will make some heavily sought-after weapons and rare materials easier for Guardians to obtain, and the increased drop rates will hopefully result in players having an abundance of them. With the different difficulties available to select from and harder runs dropping better loot, players will be able to farm a lot of these valuables from the clutches of the Darkness across all Nightfall strike difficulties....

This was caused by alt-tabbing out of the game while playing PvP activities or if reducing or dragging around the window with Destiny 2 active if players were playing in windowed mode. This is just one of the examples from the findings in Season of the Lost, and now a player found out that there is a very odd connection between Solar Warlocks’ Phoenix Dive and the basic action of sliding....

Another good reason to make art or memes stems from one of the most renowned guns in the entire game, Telesto, also nicknamed by the community “The Besto” due to how it manages to break Destiny 2 in many ways. Season of the Lost is all about fusion rifles, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that the most famed Exotic fusion rifle managed to cause massive glitches this time around....

Bungie has been tweaking the drop rates for these ciphers since they appeared in game due to how stingy they were at actually dropping. During the first 24 hours, ciphers were overly difficult to come by, leaving many players feeling like they were wasting their time. A few hotfixes later and players have now been reporting that the items are dropping more frequently. One player in particular has seemingly devised a way to farm a good amount of them in a short amount of time....

While Bungie typically likes to keep details about its Destiny endgame content a secret, Community Manager Deej was willing to reveal when the Raid Lair release window is. Destiny 2 players can expect to tackle the Eater of Worlds shortly after Curse of Osiris’ launch on December 5th. Some might be concerned that Bungie is planning to release the Raid Lair too soon after Curse of Osiris’ launch, but Deej wanted to clarify that things will be different this time around....

Unfortunately, the majority of the community wasn’t satisfied with this new weapon. While rumors and speculation certainly created a lot of anticipation, the main issue appeared to be the fact that unlike the surprise of the new and challenging activity, the reward was well known months in advance when the roadmap for Season of Dawn was originally revealed. In addition, the Bastion was promised for January 28, which created a further disconnect between Bungie and its community....
