Destiny 2 Player Customizes Guardian To Look Like Power Rangers Megazord

Bungie’s looter shooter is no stranger to memes, like the recent addition of the Honk Mask with the aforementioned Festival of the Lost. The celebration began yesterday at the game’s weekly reset with an event Destiny 2 players can start at the Tower by speaking with Eva Levante, and it consists of diving into Haunted Lost Sectors and other activities in order to claim sweet loot and candy. This year, Destiny 2’s Haunted Forest is not returning, likely due to the vaulting of Mercury and its assets last year, with Beyond Light, so the Haunted Lost Sectors are something many players were looking forward to....

Destiny 2 Players Have Spent Roughly 25 Years Deleting Shaders

One fan on Reddit calculated out how long it took players to delete that massive amount of shaders. Factoring in the deleting process taking one second, it comes out to over 25 years of in-game time when you stack every Destiny 2 player’s time together. The tedious process of deleting shaders has not gone unnoticed by players, and is one of the complaints leveled at the system, which changed to a one-time-use consumable item in Destiny 2 instead of the original game’s method of letting players unlock a shader once and then apply it once and swap it out....

Destiny 2 Players Share Concerns That Arcstrider Class Feels Weak

But one common concern from the Destiny 2 beta seems to be rising up: the new Arcstrider Hunter feels weaker than the other subclasses. And not just against the new Dawnblade and Sentinel, but against every other subclass in the game. In general, players are feeling underwhelmed by the newest Hunter subclass. One of the most common complaints about the Arcstrider is that it can be hard to close the gap to reach enemies in PvP, allowing them plenty of time to return fire and take down the incoming supercharged Guardian....

Destiny 2 Celestial Nighthawk Exotic Has Game Breaking Glitch

Exploits around super regeneration have traditionally been some of the more popular glitches utilized by the Destiny 2 community. Bungie, on the other hand, has changed its stance against super regeneration in the past year and has nerfed almost every exotic armor piece that granted super energy before Shadowkeep was released. RELATED: Destiny 2’s Hunter Exotic is Still Bugged This particular glitch concerns the Hunter exotic helmet Celestial Nighthawk. Its perk already states that every Golden Gun kills grants 1/3 super energy but with the addition of the Energy Converter armor mod, the effect increases dramatically....

Destiny 2 Competitive Mode Limited To 4V4

Additionally, Bungie has stated that it is dedicated to rebuilding the multiplayer’s sandbox to focus more so on the smaller teams for the Destiny 2 experience. According to game director Luke Smith, these and other potential changes are due to the developer’s decision to rethink “the Crucible from first principles,” which may or may not rankle some Guardians within the science fiction shooter’s established fan base. Interestingly enough, this particular announcement from Bungie regarding the Crucible’s specific player count confirms details shared in a leak detailing changes in the sequel that came about just an hour prior to the livestream....

Destiny 2 Desperately Needs More Character Customization Options

One of the ways Destiny 2 could continue to ever-improve the user experience, especially for newer or returning players, is it could stand to provide them with more character customization options. This could include expanded options for humans, Exo, and the Awoken. For example, players could have far more options and sliders for a character’s hairstyle, facial features, and body type. This would allow players to create a character that better represents themselves, potentially providing more meaningful customization options to Destiny 2’s player base....

Emblems in Destiny 2 have mainly been items with very little use outside of cosmetic flair, although there are a few emblems in the game that are harder to earn, like the ones earned for completing a challenge mode in the Leviathan raid. But now developer Bungie is looking to make emblems a bigger symbol of achievement in the game. In its weekly blog, Bungie detailed how these emblems will work when the next patch hits on February 27....

Destiny 2 Hands Out More Bans To Pc Players

Shortly after launch, about 400 players were banned from accessing Destiny 2 on PC without any explanation as to why. Initially, these players (and others) surmised that the bans were a result of having third party software open, like an overlay for Discord or Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) for streaming. Bungie was quick to clarify that it was not delivering bans for the use of these types of software, essentially saying that the banned players deserved their punishment....

Destiny 2 Nerfs One Of Its Best Weapons

While many suspected that Bungie would take this opportunity to nerf some of the best new exotics in Destiny 2 from the Forsaken expansion, the list of nerfs was virtually non-existent. For the most part, any changes to exotics were actually buffs (like Prometheus Lens getting a 10% increase to its damage) or fixes which made Ophidian Aspect and Lunafaction Boots exotics stronger. The exotics that did get a bit of a nerf or a fix that negatively impacted their power were Ursa Furiosa, Hard Light, and Ace of Spades—but, overall even those nerfs shouldn’t affect them too much....
